Samara Scott
Executive Director/CEO
Samara Scott (pronounced Samira) is unapologetically herself, bringing her full, authentic presence into every space she enters. With more than two decades of human resources leadership across diverse industries, she holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in HR and Industrial Relations, along with a senior-level HR certification. Her résumé reflects her expertise—but it doesn’t fully capture her why.
Samara is the Executive Director and CEO of Beahive Affordable Housing Outreach, Inc., the nonprofit she founded to bridge the gap between housing instability and long-term community empowerment. Beahive provides housing solutions, financial literacy, and workforce development services to individuals and families navigating systemic barriers in Dauphin, Cumberland, and York Counties. Under her leadership, the organization has secured public and private funding, rehabilitated homes into affordable rentals, and launched programs that move people from survival to stability.
Known as a disruptor of broken systems, Samara’s purpose is clear: to elevate people and communities with dignity, integrity, and radical empathy. Whether mentoring an emerging HR professional, helping a single mother secure housing, or speaking on the power of servant leadership, she leads with both vision and compassion.
Beyond her professional work, Samara is a wife, mother, daughter, friend, sister, and cat mom. She may not be for everyone—but she is for those who believe in justice, equity, and lasting change.
