Our Hive Saving Assistance program is designed to help families and individuals facing housing insecurity by providing both rental assistance and home-saving solutions. If you’re struggling with rent but don’t qualify for traditional programs due to slightly exceeding income limits, we can offer support to meet your short-term needs and help you regain stability.

For those facing foreclosure, a tax sale, or delinquent mortgage payments, Beahive Affordable Housing is here to assist you in saving your home. Our goal is to provide the financial and practical assistance needed to help you maintain your independence and avoid losing your home.

Who Can Qualify

Application Process

At Beahive Affordable Housing, we provide financial assistance to individuals and families facing eviction or struggling to catch up on past-due rent. If you are behind on rent or in the process of eviction, we may be able to help. Additionally, for those seeking a new residence, we can assist with security deposits and application fees when there is a financial need. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to stable, affordable housing, especially in times of hardship.

To apply for assistance, complete the online application by clicking the link provided. Once we receive your application, please allow up to 72 hours for a response. At that point, we will schedule an intake interview to review your situation.

Approval is based on the availability of funds and the timely submission of required documents. If approved, you will be notified both verbally and via email, and payment will be made directly to the landlord, property manager, or city/county office within 42 hours of approval.

We're here to support you through this process and help you secure the housing assistance you need.

What To Know About Foreclosures

When is it too late to stop
foreclosure?

Once your home has been sold at the auction, stopping foreclosure is no longer possible.

Can I get my house back after possession?

How Can I Protect My Home from foreclosure?

You may be able to avoid foreclosure by negotiating with your lenders, such as getting a loan modification or forbearance.

How long does it take for a bank to foreclose on your house in P.A.?

The longer the gap between repossession and a mortgage application, the more likely it is that you’ll be able to get a loan. If your home was repossessed during the last 3 years, it will make it very difficult for you to get another mortgage—you'll need at least 12 months from any repossession before applying again.

If you miss a mortgage payment, it can take up to 4 months for your bank to start the foreclosure process. In Pennsylvania, the total foreclosure process can take anywhere from a few months to over a year. The time frame varies depending on the situation.
